The “Whose Region” app is a reference guide for vehicle region codes used in Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. The app allows users to identify a region by code and, when needed, open that region in Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Yandex Maps.

2. Information We Collect

The app does not require registration and does not directly collect personal data such as your name, email address, phone number, or payment information.

The region code entered by the user is processed locally on the device and is not sent to the developer.

3. Advertising

The app uses Yandex Mobile Ads SDK to display banner and full-screen ads. When ads are displayed, the third-party advertising provider may automatically process technical information required for ad delivery, such as:

• device identifiers and advertising identifiers, if available on the device;
• IP address and technical device parameters;
• information about interactions with ads;
• diagnostic and service-related data.

Such data is processed by the respective third-party provider in accordance with its own privacy policy.

4. Third-Party Services and Map Apps

The app may open third-party map applications, including Apple Maps, Google Maps, and Yandex Maps. When you are redirected to those apps, any further processing of data is governed by the privacy policies of the respective services.

The app itself does not receive or store any data that may be processed by those apps after they are opened.

5. Location Data

The app does not request access to the user’s geolocation and does not track device location. Opening a region on the map is performed through a text-based query generated from the identified region.

6. Data Storage

The app does not store users’ personal data on the developer’s own servers.

7. Security

The developer takes reasonable measures to ensure that the app operates correctly and securely. However, no method of data transmission and no software product can guarantee absolute security.
